What is fitness?

The phrases to do fitness or to engage in fitness seem to many people as a concept that can be done as a hobby. Unfortunately, when it comes to fitness, most people think of men like Arnold Schwarzenegger huddled together and groaningly lifting huge weights. If this isn't fitness, what is? Here you go.

Fitness and bodybuilding are different concepts. Bodybuilding is a branch of competition where people who grow their muscles far above their natural state exhibit their bodies on the podium. Here, physical size is at the forefront, not health.
Fitness, that is, physical fitness, refers to the state of health and vigor in which all body systems work together efficiently, and where there is plenty of energy even after daily work is finished.
Being fit isn't all about having big muscles or a tiny waist. The world's leading institutions* emphasize having energy and vigor for work, exercise and fun when defining fitness. Energy and vigor cannot be measured easily and accurately, but components of physical fitness can be measured.
Fitness components are divided into health and skill. This is important information because it allows you to understand whether the exercises you do are good for your health. The components that affect health are heart strength, fat ratio, muscle strength and flexibility (1). If you are doing exercises such as agility, balance and coordination that athletes do, you are probably having fun, but you are not improving your health enough. How will we know how well our exercises are working?

How fit you are?
You can't see how fit you are in the mirror or on the scale. Being a few pounds overweight or having small muscles doesn't mean you're not fit and healthy. How fit you are determines the levels of health-related fitness components, which can be measured by physical tests. The MeMap platform, which I am also in, has made "fitness" measurable. With the Fitness Check-Up protocol, all components related to health are measured one by one, how fit you are, and your deficiencies and strengths are reported in detail.

Fitness Check-Up is a measurement protocol that reveals all health-related fitness information that is invisible to the outside. Your FitScore, calculated at the end of the protocol, shows you how fit you really are over 100 points.
FitSkor is the first and only objective scoring system in the world that numerically expresses the fitness level according to age and gender.
For detailed information about FitSkor, you can visit the MeMap website with the button below. You can make an appointment right away to see how fit you are and how much your exercises benefit you.
